Upcoming format update for geographic attributes in Identity Score

We’re updating ipSubdivision and identitySocioMunicipalGeostatisticalArea to preserve leading zeros in their codes. For example, ipSubdivision will return 03020 instead of 3020, and identitySocioMunicipalGeostatisticalArea will return 0010 instead of 10.

If you use these attributes in rules, data matching, or reports, please review how your systems handle codes with leading zeros. We plan to activate this change on or after October 5, 2026.

RFC-Based Signals Now Included in the National ID Vector

We’ve added 2 new insights based on Mexico’s RFC (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes) to our national_id vector in Identity Score.

These signals assess the integrity and trustworthiness of an RFC by:

  • ✅ Confirming RFC validity and presence in SAT records

  • 📊 Returning a trustiness level (HIGH, MID, LOW) based on the official SAT 69 Lists

These two RFC insights complement the existing 8 from CURP, completing the new 10-signal national_id vector for Mexico. Now available for all customers via the Identity Score API.
